Member Sites

As part of our ongoing effort to link writers to writers, and to introduce Coop members to one another, we invite you to submit the link to your personal or professional website. Include a brief blurb about the site, or a personal biography.

The site does not have to be a writer’s site, if yours happens to reflect another of your interests, but please add a note to your blurb or bio about the type of writing you do.

We encourage all writers, editors and publishers to participate. Email the link and blurb or bio to coopinfo@writerscoop.org

Wes Funk: http://www.wesfunk.ca

A few years back, when Wes  published his chapbook Humble Beginnings, no one was more surprised than he at how well-received it was. This inspired him to keep plugging away at his sort-of-memoir Dead Rock Stars. Shortly after its release, this novel was a subject on numerous local radio and TV talk shows. It was shortlisted in the Readers' Choice category of the 2009 Saskatchewan Book Awards, and received Honourable Mention in Writers' Digest's International Self-Published Book Awards. Wes's new novel Baggage, a tale of a group of Saskatoon misfits, has now also become a Saskatchewan bestseller and a pick-of-the-month of several book clubs across Canada. A strong belief in diversity, a passion for rock 'n' roll, and a love for the prairie lifestyle are all strong themes in Wes's writing. He is currently working on a new manuscript.
