No Coop Scoop in your inbox? Maybe your membership has lapsed, or maybe we don't have your current contact information. Email us and find out.
The Coop Scoop is emailed to the vast majority of the Coop's approximately 120 members, plus several fellow organizational members of the arts and literary community. A few members pay a slightly higher membership fee to receive a hard copy version of the Scoop.
The Coop Scoop is emailed on or about the 15th of every month (except July and August). Hard copy readers receive theirs a few days later.
Have a look at what you're missing: Last month's Coop Scoop. (You'll need the free Adobe Reader to access this. If you don't have Adobe Reader installed, get it here.)
Part of our mission at The Saskatoon Writers' Coop is to foster a sense of excitement in our community about writers and their work. We invite and encourage members to submit details of their writing-related event for promotion or celebration in the Member Squawks section of our newsletter, the Coop Scoop.
We invite other individuals or organizations to submit details of writing-related events they feel might benefit our members. These will be published in the Jot Notes section of the Coop Scoop, if space allows. (Priority will always be given to submissions by Coop members.)
Before you submit, please take a moment to review the following submission guidelines.

The majority of the members of the Saskatoon Writers' Coop are working and aspiring writers. Some write full-time, some write part-time, others whenever they can find a spare minute.
Members include established, emerging and beginning writers, and range in age from teens, to maturing-nicely, to aged-to-perfection.
The membership is as diverse as the general population in all ways but one: they are united by their deep appreciation for the literary arts, and for the practice of creative writing in particular. They write-- and read--poetry, fiction, essays, literary journalism, and plays.
