Include payment in full.
(Do you need to read the Coop's Refund and Cancellation policy?)
As of November 2009, The Refinery will no longer accept telephone registrations or credit card payments for Coop classes, though they may be able to give you information. The Coop's Registrar or course contact can also give you further information, if required, on advance registration procedures.
Class sizes are limited. We cannot guarantee that a place will be available if you choose to mail in your cheque before calling or emailing the registrar or contact person--or if you choose to register but not submit the full registration fee.
Fair Warning: given the limitations of our mail-handling procedures, the mail-in method is probably the riskiest alternative in terms of securing a space.
If you can register well before the deadline, please do so, in order to avoid disappointment.
Notification of interest by emailing the Registrar will result in your name being placed on a tentative list, and your interest being acknowledged by phone or email. You will receive confirmation by phone or email once your completed registration form and fee have been received. The Saskatoon Writers' Coop must receive payment in full before your place on the enrolment list (or waiting list) is finalized. If the registration limit is exceeded, registrations will be confirmed in the order that full payment is mailed or dropped off, and later registrants will be offered a place on the waiting list.
If you do not receive confirmation of your registration within two weeks of your mailing, though, please email or phone the course contact person, or the registrar. But please-- if the course information names a specific contact person, be sure you have made that contact as well. Better we know about your interest twice than not at all. Our mail-handling processes are not always the fastest.
All classes are subject to minimum and maximum enrolments. If maximum enrolment is reached, those whose paid registration was received after this time will be contacted and placed on a waiting list, if they agree. In any case, their registration fee will be returned in full unless they are later offered, and accept, a place in the class or workshop.
If minimum enrolment is not achieved, the class will be cancelled unless the board decides otherwise. If the class is cancelled ,registrants will be notified as soon as possible, and a full refund will be issued.
Other refunds of registration fees will only be made subject to the following conditions:
The Saskatoon Writers' Coop will do its very best to make sure you are satisfied with the classes and events we offer. Please understand, however, that ours is an organization run entirely by community-minded volunteers. In other words, we hate having to decline requests but, sometimes, we must.
To head-off misunderstandings, we have established a few guidelines. Please read them before you write your cheque.
Read the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Thanks!
